General Accountant
The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing, accounting data. Reports to CO.
Responsibilities
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- In charge of the company’s payables and receivables as well as inter-company report, so should be well coordinated with relevant partners related to company.
- Monitor the accounts and payments made by the clients of the company.
- Reconciliation between company accounts and the bank accounts on daily and monthly basis
- Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
- Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Maintains financial security by following internal controls and securing by data base backups
- Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Qualifications
· Applicant should have bachelors’ Degree in accounting or Financial management.
· Applicant should have minimum of 3-4 years’ past working experience in Accounting or Finance department with RETAIL Industry.
· Applicant should be expert in analytical and organizational skills.
· Applicant should have the ability of co-operating with all level employees, clients, and external agencies to increase profits and maximize performance.
· Applicant should have the proficiency of working in computers, should be proficient with Microsoft office, use of the internet, Workbooks and other accounting software.
