Position: Junior Accountant (Qualified Chartered Accountant only)
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (with 6 months probation)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- End-to-end bookkeeping & financial reporting for multiple clients.
- Collection and organization of data & documents required to facilitate bookkeeping and tax compliance.
- Tax return compliance review, preparation and filing for multiple clients.
- Preparation of journal and general ledger entries.
- Accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
- Finalization of periodic accounting records for reporting purposes.
- Liaison with auditors to provide the necessary support during audits.
Skills & Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Fully qualified chartered accountant (ACCA or ICAI)
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles and standards.
- Well versed with VAT and Corporate Tax in the UAE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness and hunger to learn new concepts, with ability to quickly grasp technical knowledge.
- Ability to work individually and within a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software such as Zoho, QuickBooks etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
