Job Brief:
Forsite Creative is looking an Office Accountant with minimum 3 years of UAE experience who will be responsible for the maintaining accurate financial data and will be reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
Job Roles:
- Raising invoices as per project milestone
- Recording collections
- Recording vendor bills
- Paying vendors
- Recording vendor payments
- Reconciling bank balance with books
- Preparing Client SOAs
- Preparing Project SOAs
- Processing payroll
- Paying salaries
- Recording salaries
- Employee reimbursements
- Employee final settlements
- VAT treatment of input & output
- Preparing quarterly VAT Returns
Cashflow forecast twice a month including:
- collection for invoices raised
- collection for invoices to be raised
- estimated overheads
- estimated rent / insurance and other payments
Monthly MIS including:
- Profit & Loss for the Month + YTD
- Balance Sheet
- Invoice ageing
- Customer ageing
- Actual vs budget for month
- Actual vs budget YTD
- Ratios
- Recording monthly amortization of prepayments
- Recording monthly depreciation
- Zoho Accounting
- Maintaining Projects in Zoho
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Degree in Accountancy
- Minimum 3 years of UAE experience
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience in creating financial statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Well versed in UAE VAT principles
- Good spreadsheet (Excel) skills
- With working knowledge or experience in using Zoho or other accounting software is a plus
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- Accuracy and details oriented
- Excellent communication skills
