We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in accounting, bookkeeping, and auditing with specific experience working under chartered accountants. A minimum of 6 months of UAE experience is required, particularly in tax preparation, VAT, and IFRS standards. We highly value candidates with prior experience in the financial services industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and bookkeeping activities.
- Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with IFRS standards.
- Support the auditing process by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Handle tax preparation and ensure compliance with relevant VAT regulations.
- Collaborate with senior accountants to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to facilitate financial planning.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Support the overall finance team in various financial tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and auditing in the UAE.
- Familiarity with tax preparation and VAT regulations.
- Knowledge of IFRS standards.
- Previous experience working under chartered accountants is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary Range: AED 3000 – AED 4500
