About the job:
The primary role of the Finance Manager will be to ensure & analyze everyday financial activities and subsequently provide support and guidance to the business on future financial plans to make sound business decisions and thus meet its objectives.
Job Description:
· Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met
· Responsible for generating accurate accounting reports and financial analysis
· Overseeing and performing the entire accounting activities including GL, AP, AR, FA month & year-end closing process, and consolidated accounts.
· Responsible for the Trend Analysis of various financial KPIs
· Preparation of Financial statements monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and at the year-end including profit and loss account balance sheet statement and statement of cash flow.
· Monitoring expenditures, analyzing revenues and conducting monthly variance analysis.
· Responsible for all day-to-day accounting transactions & maintaining records.
· Overseeing and directing, reviewing, and presenting management reports monthly and filing VAT returns
· Participate in regular audits and ensure compliance with requirements
Job Requirements:
· Preferably CA/ACCA/MBA-Finance
· 8 – 10 Years of Experience
· Big 4 Experience
· This is an individual contributor role, hence the candidate should be familiar with and have experience in the complete work cycle.
· Preferably from consumer goods/export & import industry
· Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
· A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
· Working knowledge of all UAE statutory legislation and regulations
· Ensuring the timely processing of the payments
