ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
โข Prepare schedules for all personnel according to the forecast and within the limits of the manning guide, to ensure adequate manpower at all times and under the guidance of the General Manager โ Brand.
โขConduct regular training sessions with the assigned team in line with departmental SOPโs.
โขConduct the job training of future Assistant Managerโs if the situation calls for. ยท Prepare and issue duty schedules for the assigned team.
โขEnsure the proper appearance and grooming of assigned team members. ยท Evaluate the performance of the assigned team and internal promotions.
โขShortlist new potential employees for development.
โขHandle the welcome and seating of arriving guests with the assistance of the hostess.
โขMaintain a professional relationship with the outlet patrons.
โขResolve guest complaints immediately.
โขBe actively involved in the outlets promotional activities.
โขEstablish a close working relationship with the kitchen and liaises with the chef about menu changes and menu presentations.
โขWorks in close contact with the Chefs and Kitchen employees as well as cashiers to ensure a smooth operation
โขGiving instruction and recommendations to employees to complete daily tasks
โขAct as a coordinator for any guest complaint between kitchen staff, service staff and guest
โขFollows up that food and beverage is served and cleared according to the standards and sequence of service
โขControls food and beverage inventory and maintains the stock
โขEnsures operating equipment is sufficient and in the finest condition and highest quality
โขUnderstands and follow up on health, safety, fire and emergency procedures and reports accidents and safety hazards.
โขFollows up on clean uniforms and that the highest standards of grooming and personal hygiene of the staff are maintained
โขAttends meetings as directed or required
โขPerforms any other duty as required
OTHER DUTIES
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by the company from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the organisation.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS EDUCATION
