Job Description:
We are looking for an astute Procurement Officer with in-depth knowledge and experience in FMCG industry to be responsible for purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are both cost-effective and of high quality.
To be successful in this field, you should have an analytical mind and keep up with product and service trend and should be able to negotiate well and ensure that all purchases comply with company standards.
Main job role:
1- Preparing plans for the purchase of materials as required by production department.
2- Following and enforcing the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
3- Reviewing, comparing, analyzing and approving products and services to be purchased.
4- Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
5- Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualification, delivery times, product ranges etc.
6- Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
7- Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
8- Preparing budgets, cost analysis and reports
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a procurement officer in food and beverage industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
