We are growing our team and looking for an Operations Manager with a strong background in Food and Beverages. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

About The Role

โ€ข Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards

โ€ข Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service

โ€ข Full involvement on creating exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements

โ€ข Identify customers needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns

โ€ข Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel

โ€ข Establish targets, KPIโ€™s, schedules, policies and procedures

โ€ข Provide a two way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork

โ€ข Comply with all health and safety regulations

โ€ข Report on management regarding sales results and productivity

F&B Operations

โ€ขWork together with the owner and restaurant managers in the planning, directing and coordinating of restaurant operations

โ€ขEnsure that the operational Food and Beverage team can deliver the highest quality product, and the highest financial return

โ€ขDevelop, implement and evaluate systems of control, developing and updating standards

โ€ขResponsible for enforcing the agreed restaurant standards for each restaurant by conducting and managing monthly audits

โ€ขoversee the planning and execution of special events to ensure success

โ€ขensure relevant information is passed on to the Restaurant Managers and Assistant Managers

โ€ขassist in the planning and implementation of new ideas and menu specifications

โ€ขplays an active role in marketing the restaurant brands and devising promotional programs

โ€ขInteract with customers and ensure that their needs are met in a timely and satisfactory manner

โ€ขresponsible for marketing and promoting the restaurants to maximize sales and participates in developing and implementing food promotions and new menus

People Management and Administration

โ€ขwork with the human resources department to train, develop, hire, retain and fire employees

โ€ขdevelop and monitor staff in obtaining the highest standards of service and customer care and will take responsibility the training, development and monitoring of performance of all staff

โ€ขensure all administration procedures are accurately completed

Finance, Budget and Procurement

โ€ขresponsible for developing budgets, sales targets, control costs and for purchasing stock

โ€ขWork closely with the Restaurant Managers to ensure correct stock levels are available at all times

โ€ขWork, and develop relationships, with external suppliers to ensure the very best reputation within the industry

โ€ขreview products delivery to ensure set agreements are met and take up any shortcomings with suppliers

โ€ขmanage and monitor expenditure and budget setting each year

โ€ขprovide analysis on stock and sales, highlighting and acting on any anomalies

โ€ขcreate and operate within efficient labor budgets, tracking labor spending and providing input regarding capital projects and initiatives

โ€ขresponsibility for managing and meeting all committed budgets

โ€ขOversee the inventory and keeping financial records of purchases and sales

Food Hygiene, safety and Sanitation

โ€ขEnsure strict compliance with all relevant Hygiene and Safety legislation and requirements

โ€ขEnsure and maintain staff awareness on health and safety, fire and hygiene regulations

Professional Requirements:

โ€ข Bachelor degree in relevant field

โ€ข Minimum five yearsโ€™ experience as operations manager in the field of restaurants

โ€ข Multi-national experience in the field of restaurants (UAE preferred)

โ€ข Strong communicator and reporting skills

โ€ข Good command of MS Office applications

โ€ข Strong leadership skills

โ€ข Good planning and organization skills

โ€ข Hands on problem solver

โ€ข Strong financial acumen; analytical and detail oriented

โ€ข Excellent client relationship management skills
