We are growing our team and looking for an Operations Manager with a strong background in Food and Beverages. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
About The Role
โข Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
โข Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
โข Full involvement on creating exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements
โข Identify customers needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
โข Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel
โข Establish targets, KPIโs, schedules, policies and procedures
โข Provide a two way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork
โข Comply with all health and safety regulations
โข Report on management regarding sales results and productivity
F&B Operations
โขWork together with the owner and restaurant managers in the planning, directing and coordinating of restaurant operations
โขEnsure that the operational Food and Beverage team can deliver the highest quality product, and the highest financial return
โขDevelop, implement and evaluate systems of control, developing and updating standards
โขResponsible for enforcing the agreed restaurant standards for each restaurant by conducting and managing monthly audits
โขoversee the planning and execution of special events to ensure success
โขensure relevant information is passed on to the Restaurant Managers and Assistant Managers
โขassist in the planning and implementation of new ideas and menu specifications
โขplays an active role in marketing the restaurant brands and devising promotional programs
โขInteract with customers and ensure that their needs are met in a timely and satisfactory manner
โขresponsible for marketing and promoting the restaurants to maximize sales and participates in developing and implementing food promotions and new menus
People Management and Administration
โขwork with the human resources department to train, develop, hire, retain and fire employees
โขdevelop and monitor staff in obtaining the highest standards of service and customer care and will take responsibility the training, development and monitoring of performance of all staff
โขensure all administration procedures are accurately completed
Finance, Budget and Procurement
โขresponsible for developing budgets, sales targets, control costs and for purchasing stock
โขWork closely with the Restaurant Managers to ensure correct stock levels are available at all times
โขWork, and develop relationships, with external suppliers to ensure the very best reputation within the industry
โขreview products delivery to ensure set agreements are met and take up any shortcomings with suppliers
โขmanage and monitor expenditure and budget setting each year
โขprovide analysis on stock and sales, highlighting and acting on any anomalies
โขcreate and operate within efficient labor budgets, tracking labor spending and providing input regarding capital projects and initiatives
โขresponsibility for managing and meeting all committed budgets
โขOversee the inventory and keeping financial records of purchases and sales
Food Hygiene, safety and Sanitation
โขEnsure strict compliance with all relevant Hygiene and Safety legislation and requirements
โขEnsure and maintain staff awareness on health and safety, fire and hygiene regulations
Professional Requirements:
โข Bachelor degree in relevant field
โข Minimum five yearsโ experience as operations manager in the field of restaurants
โข Multi-national experience in the field of restaurants (UAE preferred)
โข Strong communicator and reporting skills
โข Good command of MS Office applications
โข Strong leadership skills
โข Good planning and organization skills
โข Hands on problem solver
โข Strong financial acumen; analytical and detail oriented
โข Excellent client relationship management skills
