SCOPE
The Human Resources Officer ensures the smooth and efficient running of the Human Resources department by providing administrative and secretarial support to the Human Resources Director and the HR team. Our colleagues are our VIP customers, and the candidate will be required to assist with colleague queries and concerns, anticipating needs with a sense of urgency and a five-star level of service.
OVERALL OBJECTIVES
The job of an HR Officer is executed satisfactorily when:
§ All rules & regulations strictly adhere within the company including internal policy, as well as local regulations in the UAE.
§ Maintain a high standard when it comes to all related colleague service and engagement
§ Actively engage with employees from other departments on a regular basis to understand the motivation levels of people in the organization
§ Maintain a good rapport and working relationship with colleagues in the department and all other departments
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Administration:
§ Administrative support to Assistant HR Manager and Cluster HR Manager of Leisure
§ Maintenance of employee files and records.
§ Responding to their initial queries and allocating their query to other HR team members where required.
§ Deal with sensitive documents and issues, maintain confidentiality at all times.
§ Assist with the general day-to-day operation of the department.
Recruitment
§ Regularly Update Recruitment Tracker and Headcount
§ Liaising with the Talent Acquisition team for any vacancy update, job to post, and profile requirements as per SBC, Beaches, and Aldar Marinas requirements.
§ Screening line colleagues’ profiles and scheduling interviews with HOD and HR.
§ Assist in drafting Employment offers
§ Assist in coordinating required documents to the confirmed candidates.
Payroll
§ Payroll process (including updating of profiles: passport numbers, visas, dependents,)
§ Flight Tickets Tracker
§ Prepare, update and submit the monthly CT, Annual Leave, Sick Leave reports
§ Prepare, update and submit the monthly Leavers Tracking List
§ Prepare, update and submit the weekly Active List
§ Monthly payroll T&A finalization in Civil Soft system, pull out monthly reports as required by Finance
Onboarding
§ All new joiners are personally welcomed, and necessary paperwork is completed in an organized and efficient manner.
§ Creation of on-boarding checklist
§ Prepare Labour Contracts for all new joiners
§ Ensure, together with other HR colleagues, that new joiner starting dates are communicated and coordinated with the respective HODs and the Training department.
Offboarding
§ Maintains and follow up on the leavers, ensuring smooth off-boarding process for resigned colleagues
§ Scheduling of Exit Interview
§ Monthly Exit Interview Tracker (including all reasons)
§ Conduct Off boarding clearances with leavers
§ Assist in confirming repatriation Flights of leavers if any
§ Liaise with Admin & General for the cancellation process
Training
§ Assist the Assistant HR Manager with internal and external training coordination.
§ Track all training topics, training hours, and colleagues pending requisite.
§ Liaise with HSE Manager that all EFST, First Aid, Fire Training, and Lifeguard Certification are up to date.
§ Assist with pre-training preparation like identifying venue, equipment and hands out.
Additional objectives and responsibilities can be added at any time, depending on the need of the business and the Club, Beaches, and Marinas.

Education and Experience:
§ Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
§ At least two years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
§ Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
§ Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
