Ensuring financial control and discipline in the reporting practices of entities operating in ME and Other Regions.
Main responsibilities:
- Monthly review of accounting & reporting packs for group entities in UAE and other foreign jurisdictions (Hong Kong, Jersey, British Virgin Islands) while ensuring timely closure of monthly financials on S4 Hana (ERP System).
- Submission of regulatory returns and statutory financial statements for entities in UAE and other foreign jurisdictions.
- Cash Flow Management for Group’s Non-Operating Entities [Plan for all Commissions / Dividends / Interest Charges / Management Fees / Group Cost Allocations / FTS & Dividend Routing (to Trusts).
- Coordination with the external auditors for audit of ME entities and other foreign jurisdictions (Hong Kong, Jersey, British Virgin Islands).
- Assist the Head of Corporate Finance (HOCF) and Manager Corporate Finance in Group Restructuring (One Midas) Exercise.
- Planning, budgeting, and analysis (monthly, quarterly, and annual) for entities in ME region and other foreign jurisdictions (Hong Kong, Jersey, British Virgin Islands).
- ERM and BCP implementation along with coordination with Internal Audit Department for periodic internal audits.
- Develop and monitor compliance of Line of Authority Matrix (LOAM) for Entities in ME Region.
- Improve Monthly Treasury Reporting for entities in ME Region and other foreign jurisdictions.
- Banking: – Co-ordination with bankers, form group banking relations, handling bankers’ queries, KYCs, payments follow up, arranging for signatures on various documents, other adhoc support to HOCF related to the treasury process.
- Ensuring timely filing of VAT and other tax compliances of entities operating in ME and other regions.
- Prepare adhoc financial analysis for entities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with a post qualification experience of 3 – 5 years
- Strong accounting knowledge of IFRS and its practical application
- Minimum 5 years with a Big 4 Accounting Firm and / or a combination with a multinational corporation, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing the external / management reporting function of an MNC
