We are currently looking for Senior Pipeline Engineer to be a part of Engineering & Project Management team based in Abu Dhabi:

Technical Knowledge and Skills (Discipline Specific):

  • Knowledge of in-depth engineering processes
  • Experience with international codes, standards and engineering practices
  • Must be experienced with all aspects of design from concept to detailed design
  • Technical analysis of engineering problems
  • Feasibility studies, conceptual design, FEED, detail design, procurement support, construction, testing and commissioning.
  • Familiarity with international codes, standards and industry guidelines such as ASME, API, BS, DIN, ASTM, IP, AGA, ISO, NACE, DEP etc.
  • Preparation of reports, calculations, specifications, datasheets, route selection/survey and preparation of route maps and alignment drawings.
  • Must have a sound technical knowledge of wall thickness, buoyancy, buckling and pipe laying calculations, process design and preparation of PFDs and P&IDs, hydraulic analysis, line and equipment sizing, road crossing design, calculations and drawings.
  • Previous experience in hydraulic analysis, pipe support design, culvert design, pipe stressing, catHead of the Departmentic protection design, material selection, hot tap and stoppling (design and/or field
  • supervision an added advantage), preparation of WPS, hydrotesting design, calculations and field involvement.
  • Must have a demonstrable ability to provide top class engineering deliverables, as directed by the Project Study lead, without constant supervision, as per company technical competency standards.

Qualification / Experience (Skills):

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with relevant discipline from recognized university
  • Master’s degree in relevant discipline will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a Lead Engineer
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in FEED projects
  • Approved by ADNOC group of companies
  • 10 -17 years of Oil & Gas Design Experience.
