Job Responsibilities:
Overview/Summary:
Handle logistics for the MENA region. Accountable for all logistic duties throughout the supply chain cycle of our products to regional customers; from bidding phase through to products delivery to the destination as per relevant Incoterm agreed. Be the focal point of contact with regional customers for all logistics related matters.
a. Shipment Management & Pricing for Bids Operation:
- Co-ordinate with the HQ logistics team for all international shipment transactions and advise on necessary action.
- Responsible for handling Return Material Authorization (RMA) and sharing information with HQ team.
- Work closely with our partners/agent to sort out all customs duties, taxes, certification and verification in compliance with governmental agencies.
- Provide competitive sea & air freight rates, and in-land transportation.
- Co-ordinate and monitor supply chain operations:
– Coordinate with customers for shipping procedures and documentation.
– Provide lead time, ETD and ETA to customers, and provide regular update on transit status.
– Review all the shipping documents as such Invoice, Packing list (PL), Certificate of Origin (CO) and HBL/AWB.
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
b. Warehouse Co-ordination and Stock taking:
- Plan and monitor warehouse inbound and outbound deliveries.
- Negotiate warehouse contract and insurance, including renewal.
- Co-ordinate with our logistics partner on shipment, warehousing, invoices and transportation.
- Review all project orders against delivered materials.
- Supervise and monitor transportation of materials and ensure timely issuance of delivery note (DN).
- Review all invoices submitted by logistics partners and provide project codes/opportunity #.
- Utilize logistics software / management system to optimize procedures.
- Arrange transportation services for all project orders to ensure material are delivered as per schedule.
- Supervise orders and arrange stocking of equipment as per customer demands.
- Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders, etc.
c. Reports & statistics:
- Produce regular reports for management
- Weekly shipment report
- Weekly order release report
- Weekly SAP entries
- SAP and ICP reports as per strict monthly deadline
- Weekly inventory report
- Budget Forecast
- Quarterly Bill of Entry (Customs)
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience with at least 2 years in UAE logistics background.
- Proficient in Computer literate.
- Excellent proficient in MS Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
