Accountant (SAP FICO)
Role & Responsibilities
•Handle and coordinate complete spectrum of financial accounting role e.g AR, AP, GL reconciliation, intercompany reconciliations, payroll, journal entries etc
•Responsible for timely closing of monthly accounts, monthly consolidated financial statements, cash flow and management reporting
•Responsible for preparation, validation and timely submission of all tax returns and ICV data (if applicable) to Government Authorities
•Manage cash flow and working requirements
•Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies
•Support HOD Finance in ensuring that intercompany cost allocations are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy
•Establish and maintain systems for cost sensitivity analysis and early warning of cost overruns
•Work constantly with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives
•Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations, including review and approve payment vouchers and journal entries
Knowledge, Skillset and abilities
Working knowledge of internationally accepted accounting standards IFRS and IAS
Sound knowledge of all of internal operational and business processes, ability to understand business processes and identify risks associated with the same
Working knowledge of Capital and Cash Management frameworks and processes
Excellent Knowledge of SAP FICO
Strong analytical and organizational skills, people management skills
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and excel, statistical tools
Strong planning and coordination skills Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles
