We are looking for an ambitious accounting professional to join the accounting department of our growing multi-national company. In this role, the candidate will need to assist management in making critical business decisions by gathering, analysing, and presenting key financial data through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, as well as the presentation of alternatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and control the company’s accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
- Oversee accounting procedures, prepare forecasts, budgets and risk analysis
- Gather and analyse financial information and data & ensure its integrity for internal use
- Assist with the preparation of forecasts, budgets, risk analysis reports, monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet etc) and annual statutory accounts
- Coordinate the Payroll preparation process, tracking & reconciliation of ledgers, budgets and financial plans
- Support a wide-ranging project initiatives involving Finance and client reporting
- Continually review and implement improvements to work practices and procedures to optimize operational efficiency
- Manage and coordinate compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings in the different jurisdictions in which we have operations.
Qualifications:
– Qualified Accountantย (CA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA)
– Bachelorโs Degree in Accounting or equivalent
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in the application of IFRS, techniques, concepts, and practices
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and performing high level analysis of financial data
- Gathering and analysing information, recommending, and implementing solutions to management accounting issues
- Analytical mind with ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships and contribute to the team objectives and business goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Committed, have strong work ethics and a โcan doโ attitude
- Can work under pressure and to strict deadlines
