We are seeking an experienced IT manager who can join us on this journey and help us become more efficient via the use of technology. You are responsible for analyzing our present systems and assets, recommending and implementing solutions and improvements, and providing guidance in this position. Our ideal candidate has considerable network maintenance knowledge, personnel management experience, and advanced industry understanding to keep us on the forefront of technology. You will have an immediate influence on the day-to-day effectiveness of our IT operations, as well as a continuing impact on our overall growth, beginning on day one.
Objectives of this Role
- Maintain vital IT activities, such as operating systems, security tools, apps, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
- Be accountable for initiatives, solutions, and crucial duties within a wider company endeavor.
- Manage mission-critical IT responsibilities and systems administration.
- Conduct research and evaluation of new hardware, software, and technologies.
- Control and manage inventory of hardware and software
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Evaluate departmental needs, identify weaknesses, and enhance productivity, efficiency, and precision to guide business choices.
- Make sure network components fulfill requirements and function together seamlessly, utilizing the entire spectrum of capabilities, and keep abreast of new features and competing solutions.
- Constantly review existing processes, technology, and providers to discover opportunities for enhancement.
- Prepare cost-benefit analytical reports when updates are required, regularly assessing suppliers to ensure they provide the best possible service and value for the organization’s requirements.
- Educate personnel on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and give technical assistance as required.
- Design and implement emergency protocols and preserve data backups.
Skills and Qualifications
- University degree in computer science or technology
- At least 5 years of IT management experience
- Knowledge or experience with programming languages and operating systems, current equipment and technologies, corporate backup and recovery methods, and system performance analysis
- Expert knowledge of solution implementation, configuration, and testing
