Job Purpose:
The role will be responsible to maintain a track of all cost records and building cost tracking systems for different projects and cost centers.The role will be responsible to maintain a track of all cost records and building cost tracking systems for different projects and cost centers
Main Objectives:
- Produce real-time cost reports comparing budgets to actual costs incurred.
- Build a cost tracking and recording process. Implement and maintain the same.
- Maximize profits by methods of identifying unnecessary cost overruns.
- Perform and manage project financial activity monitoring and purchase requests creation and follow up
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
- Prepare and monitor cost-to-complete reports.
- Monitor the status of site purchases and deliveries
- Update the project managers with updated expenditure and devise methods to maximize cost savings.
- Perform commercial review for (subcontractor’s quotations) for the preparation of service agreements
- Perform project costing related reporting to the team and management’s review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
- Monitor detailed construction project cost and cash flow reports
- Support forecast of time and cost by offering trending information.
- Consolidate projects data into regional reports
- Liaise with project planners to develop and update cost and resource loaded construction schedules.
- Develop and execute measurement systems to process, analyze and identify improvements.
- Analyze data, identify issues, and recommend suitable solutions.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required

Qualification and Education:
- Educated to Bachelor’s Degree level at a minimum
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project financial management
- Negotiation, organization, planning and financial reporting
- Excellent command in MS Office (Word/Excel/Power Point)
- Excellent communication & analytical skills; fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic
