Role Purpose
The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day operational supply chain and logistics of Majid Al Futtaim Fashion in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity. The role will be responsible for a seamless supply chain and logistics operations that meet the business objectives while being time and cost efficient. Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following: Operations Financial & Standards Customer
- Execute the end-to-end supply chain activity for the assigned area (Merchandise).
- Manage and maintain the “Request for Quotation-RFQ”, as per the ETE process and the SLAs approved by the compliance team
- Compliance to MAF supply chain policies, and all regulatory requirements.
- Registration of products in concern regularity bodies and ensure that all certificates are up to date.
- Ensure timely deliveries of assigned LF/AF/SF shipments.
- Monitor daily replenishments to stores/launch deliveries/store returns/orders and deliveries of Merchandise/non-Merchandise items and based on VM, Marketing requirements.
- Validate all Service providers invoices to ensure that charges are consistent with the agreed terms.
- Update the logistics tracker (budget vs actual cost) and raise the flag in case of any inconsistency.
- Submit billing invoices in relevant systems and make sure this is being processed by FSSC on time.
- Conduct regular reconciliation with Finance to update all booked/un-booked service providers invoices.
- Provide exemplary customer service to all stakeholders by providing relevant and timely information for sound business decisions.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with Third Party Logistics – 3PL where required to ensure that both internal and external stakeholders are in line with MAF Deliverables.
- Continuous monitoring of the supplier/service provider’s performance against the agreed KPIs and SLAs.
Ensure brand principles and stakeholders are up to date with shipment status, deliveries, and other relevant issues.
- Track, record and manage all shipment incidents and discrepancies along with our partners and stakeholders
- Prepare up-to-date reports on logistics performance and activities

- Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain/logistics or relevant field.
Experience
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in supply chain/logistics.
- Exposure to a high-volume transaction multi-site retail organization will be an advantage.
