FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability, availability, and disaster recovery in order to meet business needs within agreed service levels.

Conduct regular monitoring and testing of all infrastructure elements to ensure service continuity and minimal down time.

Provide subject experience, implementation skills for ERP, Customer Relationship (CRM) and other cloud-based solutions

Ensure that the suite of existing and future proposed global business systems (ERP, CRM, IT Service, Business Intelligence, Document Management, Intranet, and integrated Communications) is fully deployed, supported and well communicated within the business

Working as a key part of the IT team to ensure that IT is deployed efficiently within the business and in line with the organization’s IT Strategy

Lead the scheduling and implementation of IT service delivery maintenance plans to ensure minimal downtime.

Identify and lead service improvement initiatives to enhance IT service delivery performance.

Manage the identification, development, and implementation of IT applications to meet business needs, ensuring alignment with the IT strategy and quality standards.

Lead the process of IT consultation with Business Units and Departments to ensure deep understanding and provide relevant support to business priorities.

Identify, study and analyze new requirements for Applications / Automation to improve the process flow of various functional departments. Designing the application requirements and taking up with the vendors for development and implementation based on necessary approvals

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key customers at all levels to understand their business drivers and work with the systems analyst to understand requirements and deliver/promote technical solutions as appropriate.

To act as IT project lead for IT business application projects and implementations ensuring that all measures are taken for successful delivery

To ensure change control for all business applications and ensure thorough System/UAT testing prior to a full and controlled release

Take responsibility for project budgets and for ensuring that expenditure and resources are tracked throughout and remain within project tolerance.

Oversee the appointment and management of external service providers when required to assist in IT application development.

Review the effectiveness of IT applications to ensure ongoing efficiency and resilience to meet business needs and make recommendations for identified improvements.

Work closely with business stakeholders to identify the reporting needs and identify solutions that will enable IT meet business needs.

Education/ Qualifications

Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

Certifications in Oracle or ERP platform required.

ITIL or PMI Certification is preferred.

Experience

At least 8 years’ experience in IT / MIS systems operations and support activities as a Team lead / Manager.

Proven experience in ERP and Business Intelligence

Project management experience through a project management life cycle.

Database administration experience.

Functional knowledge of IT within manufacturing industry.

Functional Skills & Specific Knowledge

Possess strong hands-on/technical knowledge of core Oracle database & ERP systems like Oracle/SAP/Microsoft.

Ability to deliver projects with tight deadlines and budgetary limitations.

Ability to frame security and risk-related concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences
