Receivables & Credit Control
- Ensure that all customers are billed in accordance with the company’s credit policy and procedures
- Carry out physical visits to customer premises as requested by Receivables Manager to assess customer’s creditworthiness and provide feedback
- Coordinate with sales team, warehouse and QC teams in case of short payments from customers to understand causes of the same, and pass the necessary adjustment Credit Notes with approval from Receivables Manager
- Generate customers’ statements of accountants on a periodic basis (as per policy) and reconcile the same; file the reconciled statements for future reference
- Work closely with the legal department in cases of legal action / fraud and provide all necessary documentation needed
- Monitor all receivables and follow up with customers for payments based on due dates
- Take help from the sales team / manager for follow up if required
- Update receivables data on a daily basis and prepare reports for the Manager to discuss with the sales team and GM
- Provide timely and accurate receivables information to the Manager / GM whenever requested
