A well-known and well-reputed Company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is looking for an experienced, skilled, competent, mature, qualified, creative, and intelligent candidate with significant knowledge and relevant working experience for the position of “Civil NOC Engineer”.

Job Purpose

To manage all NOC (No Objection Certificate) applications and approvals to ensure all required documentation and permits are issued in line with project requirements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the engineering team in all tasks related to obtaining RTA, Utilities’ related authorities approvals/ NOC and information from external authorities (RTA, DEWA, Dubai Municipality and others)
• Review, prepare and submit all NOC applications for the construction, and coordination with other departments NOCs relevant to the approvals
• Liaise with all relevant agencies/authorities and client team to obtain necessary approvals and NOCs
• Maintain regular follow up on submissions made to the different authorities
• Manage the progress of drawings and specifications for NOCs
• Manage all project approvals from government authorities
• Track all NOCs and ensure all of them are completed on time
• Any other duties as reasonable requested by the line/function manager.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Engineering related field

Experience

• Minimum five (5) years in a similar role
• Minimum three (3) years dealing and liaising with local government authorities (RTA, DEWA, Municipalities, etc).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Comprehensive knowledge of government authorities’ regulations and processes
• Comprehensive knowledge in permits and NOCs from all local government authorities
• Strong organisation and documentation skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise assignments under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted during the work.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Initiative driven

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineering licence or Society of Engineers licence

• May be on-call out of regular office hours or on weekends in case of emergencies or deadlines
• Exposure to hazardous materials, loud noise and extreme heat
• May require travel between project sites and government authorities/regulators
