A well-known and well-reputed Company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is looking for an experienced, skilled, competent, mature, qualified, creative, and intelligent candidate with significant knowledge and relevant working experience for the position of  “Senior Accountant”.

Al Manarah Insurance Services is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our agile and dynamic team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be assisting in the day-to-day accounting process and responsible for month-end and year end closing process.

Responsibilities

· Prepare and process accounting entries into accounting system for reporting purposes

· Prepare checks and transfers for payment purposes

· Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

· Prepare bank reconciliations to ensure exact match

· Prepare Prepayments and accruals tables and other provisions calculations

· Generate reports in accordance with standard forms

· Coordinate with Credit Control to follow-up with accounting on transactions

· Prepare production reports by line of business to monitor performance

· Assist in preparing system generated reports in coordination with accounting for reporting purposes

· Assist with tax audits and tax returns

· Assist in the external auditors with their requests.

· Prepare month-end and year-end close process

· Ensure compliance with IFRS standards

Qualifications

· 3 to 4 years of professional accounting experience in a similar field, preferably in the insurance sector

· Finance or Accounting Certification is a must – CPA | CMA | ACCA

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent

· Detail oriented and organized

· Familiar with accounting software and programs

· Familiar with Local regulatory requirements in the UAE
