Scope of the role

To support the organization in achieving its HR objectives by providing right people, structure & processes as per the lead time thereby ensuring a highly engaged workforce

Essential Job Responsibilities:

1. To support the recruitment process for staff positions by sourcing and screening the right candidates as per the lead time thereby ensuring quality of candidates available for the selection process while ensuring optimum candidate experience.

2. To manage onboarding new staff by processing visa, medical tests, Emirates ID, labor contract within the lead time to ensure that the employee is ready for induction within the agreed time. To ensure the employee has a good onboarding experience.

  1. To manage the employee health benefits system by initiating the insurance renewal process, by providing accurate data, negotiating with broker for better benefits within the optimum budget within the lead time. To ensure new employees are added to the policy within a week from date of joining & to deactivate policy for leavers within 3 weeks of their exit from the company.
  2. To manage the GSL accommodation through 2 camp bosses by ensuring all AMCs, contracts & licenses are renewed by respective departments within the target time & to ensure employee satisfaction by coordinating with facility department for completion of maintenance requests. To ensure costs are within the limit.
  3. To manage the disciplinary system by reporting & recording incidents, organizing disciplinary enquiry meetings and ensuring the employee is heard and the fair corrective actions are taken in line with the disciplinary code within the agreed time.
  4. To ensure continuous employee satisfaction & engagement by administering, analyzing, reporting engagement surveys and to ensure corrective action plans are formulated and implemented within the stipulated time to ensure high employee engagement score.

7. To manage the renewal process of Visa, labor contract/cards, Occupational health certificates & emirates id of employees by tracking and preparing a hassle-free plan for renewal without affecting the daily operations within the timeline. To ensure zero fines/penalties from authorities.

8. To manage the payroll process for staff and workers by capturing, recording, and updating attendance, incentives & overtime data in Oracle payroll system within the lead time and ensuring accurate data & timely disbursement of salary and thereby ensuring employee satisfaction.

9. To manage the termination process by documenting, processing final settlements, visa/labor card cancellations thereby achieving smooth exit of the employee from the company within the optimum timeline.

10. To manage employee encashments are done within the lead time so that employees receive their settlements before they proceed on vacation thereby ensuring employee satisfaction.

11. To manage letter request process for promotion letters, increment letters salary certificates, bank transfer letters, NOCs while ensuring the completion within the lead time to achieve employee satisfaction. To ensure accuracy of the data provided in letters.

12. To support in business communication needs of the department within the target time through right medium thereby ensuring the information reaches the employee at right time. To ensure the completeness and accuracy of the information communicated.

13. To support in all matters that involve authorities by arranging the right support from the PRO/legal department thereby ensuring optimum timely support.

14. To manage worker-HR meeting by being the workers representative, thereby meeting, recording, reporting, communicating, and resolving the grievances within the lead time and ensuring optimum employee satisfaction.

To continuously improve employee engagement & satisfaction level of the employees by designing, organizing and implementing employee engagement activities in line with the event calendar.

Technical:

  • Graduate with background in HR management or equivalent
  • 4-5 years of experience in HR field, HR certifications/licenses is preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizing and time management skills, with the ability to manage several priorities at once.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with people at all levels of seniority.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships through all levels of the organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
