We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Dubai.

Ideally this individual will have prior experience in Sales & Business Development within the Automotive space to look after Far East Market.

About Auto Hub

Roughly the size of New York’s Central Park, the 3.3 sqkm the KIZAD-based Regional Auto Hub – Abu Dhabi being developed in partnership with Ghassan Aboud Group will be one of the largest in the region. The project’s ecosystem will feature dedicated areas for showrooms, storage, spare parts, workshops, test tracks, auction houses, social and office spaces in addition to logistics services, government support and commercial support services.

Objectives, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers and meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
  • Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
  • Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
  • Work strategically – carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
  • Have a good understanding of the businesses’ products or services and be able to advise others about them
  • Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
  • Liaise with the internal and external departments as appropriate
  • Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
  • Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations to potential new clients
  • Combining efforts and fostering a collaborative environment within the business as a whole
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 7-8 years’ sales/business development experience in the Far East region.
  • Chinese, Korean & Japanese speaking candidates preferred.
  • International or regional business development in the automotive industry will be an added advantage
  • Track record in partnerships establishment across the region with above background and a proven successful track record
  • Solid understanding of the local/regional business landscape.
  • Possess strong business acumen and is able to seek out opportunities in market
  • Bachelors degree qualified.
