They are seeking a organised, proactive, and tenacious finance professional to support the further development of the finance activities across the company.

Role Purpose

You, as the Financial Controller will have a broad remit, overseeing day-to-day aspects of the group finance function including month-end, quarter-end, and annual close processes as well as implementing new processes and systems.

Through this role, you will achieve and evolve best-in-class commercial and business controls, processes, and reporting procedure requirements across the international group. You will play a key role in transforming the finance function, driving efficiencies within the controllers and wider finance function. This entails leading the transformation and ongoing management of both the controller function

The incumbent will also be supporting the ambitious business growth through outstanding partnering with the business. The role works closely with the commercial teams and business leaders and supports the ambitious growth strategy.

This role requires you to be a strong manager who possesses solid international experience and would thrive within a fast-paced, upbeat, collaborative, and forward-thinking environment. Other ad hoc work will also be required.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams across various global regions Oversee day-to-day aspects of the international accounting including month-end, quarter-end and annual close processes for the full division
• Continuously identify, design, develop and implement ongoing enhancement of accounting and reporting processes
• Develop high-impact communications and presentations for senior management and leadership teams, owning the reporting to external stakeholders (lenders)
• Lead and oversee all financial reporting and processes across the division
• Own the relationship with internal and external auditors and implement the conclusions to ensure best practices across the division

Person Specification:

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with more than 3 years post-qualification experience
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to provide clearly and concisely, relevant commercial information to the business and clients
• Strong project management skills to ensure completion of activities and dependencies by a variety of individuals and balance multiple concurrent projects
• Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels across the various business functions, and a proven track record of managing successful teams
• Strong command of Excel will be crucial given the nature of the responsibilities
