Role Purpose:
The Account Manager is part of a dynamic, result-oriented business development/sales organization, The role will be focused on new seller recruitment for Carrefour Marketplace business. The Account Manager will be responsible for lead generation, lead evaluation (cold calls, seller visits, emails, etc.), launching the business on Carrefour Marketplace. The role will require strong relationship management skills to identify and close win-win partnerships. The Account manager will also be helping sellers to grow their business on Carrefour Marketplace by driving adoption and awareness of various marketplace tools, and help provide sellers with insights.
Functional/Technical Competencies
- Analytical Skills, excellent communicator both written and spoken, negotiator with excellent presentations skills, starter, working with autonomy and ownership to meet business objectives.
- SQL or willingness to learn.
- Pre-existing relationships with businessesโ decision-makers is a plus
Qualification, Experience & Skills :
- Bachelorโs degree
- 2+/5+ years of working experience, of which 2+/4+ years in similar role within ecommerce / marketplace business
- Excellent English written and oral communication, able to express thoughts in a crisp/logical manner.
- Demonstrated Analytical ability in professional experience
- Customer focused, willing to do the extra mile, and roll up your sleeves to create an excellent experience for the Sellers and Customers. Track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships and closing new business
- Positive ‘No Quit’ attitude, ability to achieve stretched goals in a fast pace work environment
- Strong attention to details, capacity to juggle with competing priorities, multitasks without lowering the quality bar
- Exemplary performance record, particularly with regard to quality & productivity
Role Details โ Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Lead generation, lead evaluation to recruit high potential sellers on Carrefour Marketplace.
- Effectively mange lead pipeline by applying category and industry insights to prioritize leads and meet business objectives.
- Deliver results on sales goals with limited guidance
- To be able to articulate the value of targeting a particular client/brand/category
- Provide accurate weekly forecasts and business updates for their respective pipeline/category.
- Develop and execute a detailed business plan to grow revenue opportunities from new leads.
- Maintain and effectively manage a healthy lead pipeline including lead sourcing with accurate inputs on CRM within the defined SLAs.
- Identifies seller pain points, blockers and address them.
- Builds and maintains strong relationship with multiple internal stakeholders to drive growth for their seller portfolio.
- Conduct regular analysis and dive deeps to understand business trends and help growing their sellersโ business.
