Manager-Business Analyst
Job Summary
Provide requisite support to Group Director Finance in analyzing and monitoring key business metrics through periodical interaction with BU teams and business reviews. Release Group consolidated results/analysis. Participate in annual business planning exercise. Support special Corporate initiatives/projects.

Direct: to Group Director Finance.

Key responsibilities
•Support Group Director Finance in monitoring business performance through analysis and key business performance metrics.
•Actively participate in development of standardized templates and guidelines for 3-Year Strategy Plan and Annual Operating Plan.
•Help develop and monitor forward looking business intelligence and key business metrics with BUs.
•Conduct research into comparative performance metrics/benchmarking.
•Periodically issue Group consolidated financial results/analysis.
•Help ensure Group financial discipline and working capital management. Monitor Group capital expenditure.
•Support special Corporate initiatives and projects per defined objectives/timelines.
•Support business acquisition, restructuring and disinvestment initiatives.
Qualifications & experience
•Chartered Accountant with 5-7 years relevant experience preferably of FMCG businesses (multi-product/multi-location).
•MBA with specialization in Finance from a reputed Business School will be an added advantage.
Competencies
•Functional knowledge and relevant experience of financial accounting, business analysis, business planning, forecasting and costing.
•Business focus; operational level exposure to business partnering and strategic decision making.
•Hands-on exposure to SAP or other major ERP and BI Tools.
•Highly analytical, commercially oriented with good grasp of numbers.
•Effective communication and presentation skills. Ability to interact with Senior Management.
