Role Profile:
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable inventory Warehouse manager for the Distribution center to monitor and report on the health of our inventory. The candidate will need to have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret and analyze large amounts of data.
Key Performance Area:
- Oversees team of inventory or warehouse employees.
- Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels.
- Process mapping of operational processes
- Create SOPs when required
- Understanding of the operating Alshaya systems and WMS
- Review and analysis of respective data to support understanding and decision making within projects
- Evaluates deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
- Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
- Ensure that all controls & checks are in place.
- Co-ordinate stock takes & cycle counts.
- Ensure housekeeping & safety standards are maintained.
- Maintain tight security measures to avoid shrinkage in line with Company targets.
- Ensure that Employees are trained & familiar with company policies & procedures.
- Promote staff development & conduct regular appraisals.
- Prepare Weekly & Monthly reports as required.
- Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.
- Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
- Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency, and personnel issues to upper management.
- Manages the recruitment and training of new inventory employees.
Knowledge and Education:
- Bachelors or associate degree in business, logistics, supply chain management or similar
- Experience working with inventory management software and forecasting strategies
- Experience in project handling.
- Experience conducting tracking and data analysis
- Product and inventory management certifications such as CPIM or Six Sigma is a plus
- Must have knowledge of WMS/ERP systems
