  • Workforce Planning: Support Group Talent Acquisition in developing the workforce plan in line with the business strategy/ budget and ensure timely submissions and approvals. Also, make sure that resources are adequately provided as per the approved workforce plan.
  • Recruitment: Responsible for screening, short-listing applicants at junior & middle-tier positions, conduct interviews, and advice line managers on final outcomes. Shortlist candidates to provide the best-suited talents as per the business needs. Also provide key support in ensuring the implementation of all localization initiatives.
  • Onboarding: Ensure new employees are properly inducted into the business and given support to become productive as quickly as possible.
  • Workforce Optimisation: Support Group Talent Acquisition in providing advice to the business heads for creating and managing a lean, multi-skilled workforce. Monitor headcount, locations and skills forecast for the business while keeping a close check on personnel cost and its impact on the business bottom line.
  • Performance Management: Support Group P&C in ensuring that SMART objectives are developed for all the employees in the sector and annual appraisal is done as per the defined timelines by the Group P&C team. Also make sure that proper recurring performance feedback is provided to all employees by their line managers.
  • Talent Management: Support Group Talent Development in executing training need analysis, developing training strategy for the sector and implementing other talent management processes within due course of time. Specify training interventions required to support the business.
  • Employee Relations: Support Group P&C in managing all ER-related issues in the concerned business units. Ensure compliance with local laws and Group policies throughout the employee life cycle. Execute the actions regarding employee promotions, transfers, terminations, rehiring’s, IOMs and confirmation of employment.
  • Employee Engagement: Play a key role in communicating organizational messages and monitoring feedback within the concerned business units. Plan and facilitate the employee townhalls, day aways and annual gatherings to enhance employee morale and motivation.
  • Succession Planning: Support Group Talent Management in developing succession plans and retention strategies for key talent and positions.

Minimum Requirements

  • Masters in HR or business. Professional certification in HR like CIPD qualification or SHRM will be an added advantage.
  • Have a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant practical working experience in progressive positions within HR, preferably in an international organization with matrix setup.
  • 5+ years of experience of HR business partnering preferably in a multi-sector organization.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, and to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to effectively coach line managers and leaders on complex HR issues.
  • Adapts and works effectively with a variety of situations, individuals or groups.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, build partnerships and influence at all levels of the organization, including senior management, by providing appropriate and tailored information in a timely manner.
  • A high sense of initiative, enthusiasm and good team spirit, good organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong aesthetics with excellent analytical skills for comprehending and analysing large database to extract meaningful trends.
  • Fluency in English. Arabic is a plus.
  • Excellent level of IT skills in particular Excel (e.g. Vlook-ups/ pivot tables) Word, Powerpoint, SharePoint, HR Database.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
