I. Role Purpose
Responsible for managing accuracy in books of accounts & financial statements, and oversee day to day accounting function’s activities
II. Key Accountabilities
Cluster
Develop Standard Costing for all manufactured SKUs.
- Perform monthly variance analysis (actual vs. standard) and investigate material variances.
- Manage the company’s end-to-end accounting books (record to report cycle)
- Perform month end financial close and prepare management accounts
- Carryout monthly analysis of contribution margin, breakeven analysis, Cost-volume Profit analysis and other KPIs
- Co-ordinate annual audit with the external auditors
- Prepare annual budget
Prepare rolling P&L forecasts (quarterly, half yearly and third quarter)
- Prepare and update rolling cash flow forecast
- Manage Accounts payable cycle (procure to pay cycle)
- Manage Accounts receivable cycle (order to cash cycle)
- Conduct physical inventories and monitor the cycle count program
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure integrity of GL vs. Sub ledger (Inventory, Payables, Receivables).
III. Academic Education & Professional Certifications
· CIMA / ACCA / CPA / CA (or other relevant)
· +3 years of Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing company
· Experience of working on ERP system for cost accounting (preferably JDE)
