We are looking for accountant for our food stuff company with minimum 2 years of experience in trading/distribution companies in UAE
1- To Manage & control the general accounting functions.
2- Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities
3- Assess current practices and procedures to suggest recommendations for improvement.
4- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
5- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
6- Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.
7- Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
8- Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; and preparing special reports.
9- Supervise all regular accounting processes such as A/P and Journal Entries plus monthly closure accounts.
10- Monitor account reconciliation, tax and calculations inclusive of cost accounting plus factory data recording processes.
11- Prepare journal entries and synthesize common ledger for subsidiary accounts.
12- Collate bank statements on monthly basis.
Qualifications:
1- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred.
2- 2 years of progressive accounting experience.
3- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization
4- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
5- Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques
6- Good knowledge Microsoft Excel skills, tally, and Experience with other financial systems.
