The Group Marketing Manager will lead the team responsible for developing, implementing, and advancing the strategy, experience, voice, campaigns, and capabilities of our brands and our business lines. A digitally savvy brand leader who will identify campaign insides to create stories that resonate with our communities and customers which will, in turn, elevate XA group’s mission, brand, products, and services.

This is an opportunity to create customer-centric, culturally relevant, and innovative strategies, roadmap, and tactics that would engage customers/ beneficiaries at every touchpoint. The success of the role will be measured through brand performance, brand recognition, and brand visibility using data tools. The role will focus on a disciplined matrix-driven decision making through breakthrough creative ideas

Key Responsibilities

  • Development of competitive brand strategy including the setting of style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision, and value proposition for short and long term
  • The role oversees the entire brand planning process inclusive of identification of target consumers and development of marketing mix with a focus on market penetration strategies on consumer and brand interaction in order to facilitate significant growth of XA Group
  • The role manages and maintains market-related research efforts inclusive of consumer insights, consumer segmentation, competitive intelligence, industry trends, and social media development
  • The role is also tasked with keeping up with industry best practices and emerging digital strategies that will keep the brand marketing to ensure that the business has a competitive edge in consumer acquisition and retention
  • Extract actionable insights and develop key target plans based on consumer research and performance data
  • Develop content strategy and digital programming tools with media, multichannel strategies (paid marketing, celebrity endorsement, etc.), and partner companies, track and adjust
  • Lead marketing function by developing and executing end to end brand marketing plans and campaigns across the full spectrum of owned, earned physical and digital, experiential, and paid channels
  • Lead PR functions by developing multidisciplinary communications strategies that advance and protect XA group’s corporate and executive reputation
  • Lead consumer experience team towards achieving high-performance data matrix and identifying growth opportunities for the business
  • Own and steward brand marketing and campaign budget
  • Takes ownership of departmental results while fostering a culture of accountability among teams

The Ideal Candidate

  • 10 + years of brand marketing, brand management, and advertising experience
  • 5+ years of experience in association with a large enterprise (one of the fortune 500 companies) and a start-up with a high growth trajectory in marketing or branding
  • Experience in growing a brand from early-stage to strong market presence and significant revenue
  • Hands-on experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns
  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA
  • Experience in utilizing data to drive decisions
  • Experience PR and media management
  • Needs to be agile in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to react quickly to new information and inspire teams to be top performers
  • Previous experience in managing teams
  • 70% of time should be allocated to for-profit companies and 30% for non-profit ventures
