Primary Duties & Responsibilities
The ideal candidate should have thorough knowledge of accounting principles and strong analytical skills. He should also be able to co-ordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare reports for tax return filing
- Oversee the documentation for tax filing
- Support month end and year end close process
- Assist in accounts finalization procedures
- Handle payrolls and control income as well as expenditure
- Assess financial information
- Record financial transactions through entering account information
- Evaluate accounts and business plans
- Preserve financial security through following internal controls
- Keep up accounting controls through preparing and recommending policies as well as procedures
- Prepare and present reports, budgets, business plans as well as financial statements
- Offer tax planning services with reference to current legislation
- Carry out financial forecasting and risk analysis
- Maintain financial information through completing data base backups
- Suggest financial actions through analyzing accounting options
- Generate special financial reports through collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information
- Respond to accounting procedure questions through researching and interpreting accounting policies and regulations
- Perform other duties as and when needed.
