The Business Development Manager will lead our sales and marketing initiatives to increase our customer base and grow our brand among the target market.
Job Description:
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones, build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events and promoting our brand at trade shows and major industry-related events
- Developing quotes and proposals for clients
- Increasing brand awareness and market share
- Planning periodical content calendar and own publishing operations on all social media handles โ LinkedIn, Social Media, Blog and other platforms
- Evaluating and optimizing marketing and pricing strategies, finding and developing new markets and improving sales
- Analysing market trends and preparing forecasts
- Coordinating marketing strategies with the sales, financial, public relations, and production departments
- Developing and managing the department’s budget and overseeing branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns
- Preparing and presenting ad-hoc, quarterly and annual reports/presentations for senior management
- Keeping informed of marketing strategies and trends
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or similar relevant field
- Proven working experience in B2C/B2B business development or a relevant role; experience in start-ups is strongly preferred
- A customer-centric approach and mindset
- Proficiency in MS Office, familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Ads, creating Social Media marketing Campaigns
- Experience with paid advertising campaigns including work with ad agencies on creative development and media placement
- Exposure to and a solid understanding of a range of marketing channels, such as: partnerships, email, paid, social, and content and events.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Knowledge about SEO,SEM,CRM software is an added advantage.
