BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
(SAUDI ARABIA, GCC AND LEBANON)
Reporting to the Country Manager your mission will be design and execute the sales and marketing strategy, manage and monitor the salesforce in Saudi Arabia, GCC and Lebanon; create and develop a KOL network, manage the business operations with the existing large accounts in every market, and coordinate every sales activity, workshop, open day, attendance to Congresses or exhibitions where Cocoon Medical is represented directly or indirectly. Finally, you will control the business operations and investments from our local distributor/s to secure a proper and efficient way of working.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Develop strategy for all new capital pipeline opportunities, consults with Country Manager to validate strategies to advance all such opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Implement strategic plans with execution activities to the tactical level.
- Develop quarterly, monthly and weekly plans designed to maximize customer relationships and improve face-to-face selling time in assigned territory.
- Create sales plans to increase opportunities in the pipeline and implement strategies to improve market penetration.
- Analyze sales statistics to formulate profitability.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales team from the distributor (Medica Group) to provide materials that drive opportunities.
- Accountable for meeting or exceeding assigned sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Prepare reports as necessary to develop a more informative data base for improved management decision making and critical evaluation of work activities.
- Create accurate monthly rolling forecasts for the territory based on pipeline assessment.
- Build strong relationships with key customers and decisions makers in the territory and, have the ability to influence the customer’s decision-making process and leads the customer to positive decisions.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding with the Cocoon products and of competitive products and positioning.
- Continuously learn and develop sales skills as defined by the Company.
What do you need for this position?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences or related discipline (commensurate experience may be substituted for degree).
- More than 3 years of previous sales experience with demonstrated excellent results – greater than 100% achievement on a consistent basis.
- A minimum of 2 years selling equipment into the Aesthetic marketplace. Possess the ability to drive results in a team environment with skills in demonstrating best practices and educating others on industry and selling.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing and closing complex sales with the funnel management of quotas in excess of 3M annually.
- Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills in Arab and English are mandatory.
- Very strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence required.
- Strong evidence of self-sufficiency creating and working a plan to drive revenue from assigned territory.
- Proven history of analyzing situations, employing creative and effective decision making to solve problems/achieve results.
- Possess strong listening skills as demonstrated through the ability to ask secondary and tertiary probing questions.
- Willingness to within assigned territory is required.
