Kanoo Shipping is looking for an Accounting Intern to be based in our Dubai office for an initial duration of 3 months (subject to extension).
We are looking for a bright, young and energetic candidate to fill this role. Prior experience in basic accounting responsibilities would an added advantage. However, fresh graduates may also be considered.
Candidate must hold a Degree in Accounting.
Main job responsibilities:
- Coding & accounting of various internal & external supplier invoices.
- Accounting invoices in KPI system.
- Preparation of Debits notes / Credit notes for various charges from Gemfin.
- Preparation of Agency charge vouchers for different type of charges from KPI system.
- Checking & finalization of various sundry principals disbursements.
- Sundry principals outstanding statements & payment allocations.
- Attending various sundry principals queries.
- Processing payment to various vendors and sundry principals refunds from PAS / Wallet system.
- Attending other accounting staff work during leave period.
- Regular communication with principals.
Job Requirements:
- Must be under a residency visa, sponsored by your spouse/ mother/ father and able to provide an NOC (No Objection Certificate).
- Graduate in Accounting.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Good English communication skills.
