Summary about the position:
We are looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant whom we can rely on to manage daily accounting tasks. Our ideal candidate must be able to hit the ground running, work within a team environment and take initiative when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Record invoices after the verification.
- Track and monitor accounts receivable & accounts payable
- Perform reconciliations.
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements.
- Assist in VAT return filing.
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
- Update financial data in a timely manner & ensure that all information is accurate.
- Completing company registration on the supplier portal.
- Adhere to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
- As needed, assist with other accounting projects.
- Assist in preparing Ad-hoc Reports.
- Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting.
- Proficiency in Excel a.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Junior Accountant.
- Proficiency in English.
