For this position, you will actively manage the operations in the field, ensuring the maximum quality of performance of all teams under your responsibility. The Facility Manager, reporting to the GM of Dubai, is in charge of:
1.Housekeeping department: manage inhouse & external team team
- Cleaning
- Laundry
- Amenities
2.Guests Services: leading and coordinating the team in charge of providing the best experience to our team
3.Procurement: coordinate with providers and get bst prices. Also manage the inventory and warehouse operations
4.Maintenance: managing a small team & liaising with the external company
5.Field operations: coordinating a team of supervisors in charge of the quality of the service to guests, to keep the apartments in perfect conditions and provide top service. Coordinate the logistics of our supplies, team movements etc…
We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated individual, willing to join us and pursue a long-term career. We need someone willing to innovate, bring best practices to the company, and be familiar with computer and computer tools (automatization of tasks, messaging tools, etc…). Valid UAE driving is a must (or the demonstrable possibility to get in within the first 2 months in the job).
Requirements
- At least 5-years experience as 5-star Hotel and/or Holiday Homes operations
- Good knowledge of apartments in Dubai and how short term rentals work
- Excellent knowledge of English, Arabic is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
- Multitasker, able to work under pressure and stay calm
- Team player; able to work in an environment with high inter-dependencies between teams
- Confident and personable, with a passion for creating a great customer experience
