noon is a fast-growing e-commerce venture in the Middle East with committed capital of $1 billion. Our aim is to develop a world-class ecosystem in the Middle East. To achieve this goal, noon has built end-to-end in-house capabilities across all verticals. After launching in 2017, we are now looking for aggressive scaling strategies to maximize our customer reach and product offerings.

As part of this strategy, we have acquired a fashion vertical called SIVVI, which will be a key revenue and profitability driver for the business. We will build SIVVI into a trendy premium branded fashion destination for the GCC region. We have also set up a dedicated team to manage our fashion assortment across SIVVI & Noon.

As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will work closely with the SIVVI team to align their HR initiatives. This role will work closely with the GM and wider leadership team to develop and grow a high-performance team and culture. You will also work and collaborate closely with the central noon People Experience team in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities: 

Performance Culture 

  • Create an engaged and high performing Fashion team with a clear understanding of strengths and development areas as well as career paths
  • Completed talent mapping based on performance reviews
  • Ensure everyone has clear KPIs and knows their deliverables
  • Conduct workshops with Leaders about performance management, giving feedback, setting IDPs, and identifying star performer
  • Drive monthly check-ins and develop a feedback culture

Growth & Development

  • Create a framework for Growth & Development around fashion that allows our people to perform well and grow within the business
  • Ensure everyone has IDP in place based on the outcome of the performance review
  • Develop mini Academy for fashion, which will be a combination of on the job training/mentoring/LinkedIn learning/podcast library
  • Support and work closely with the central TA team on manpower and budget planning, understand headcount recruitments for the Fashion department
  • Talent Acquisition & Retention
  • Identify and support overall L&D needs within teams
  • Manage and drive People KPIs

Team Engagement

  • Work closely with the GM of SIVVI to develop the HR agenda.
  • Drive initiatives to help support employee’s performance and productivity.
  • Managing staff wellness initiatives as well as fun & bonding activities.
  • Conduct NPS to understand current team sentiment and feedback.
  • Analyze NPS results and present back to the wider team.
  • Arrange and organize leadership and team offsites
  • All Hands- Collate and present data on people topics
  • Work closely with the central HR team and update the SIVVI team on Group policies and any changes
  • Work with the SIVVI leadership team and wider team as POC for HR
  • Identify and support overall L&D needs within teams
  • Manage and drive People KPIs

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelors degree or other postgraduate qualification preferably in Human resources Management or related field
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Knowledge of UAE employment law
  • Experience working in a startup/ e-commerce environment is desirable
  • Comfortable analyzing and presenting data
  • Highly collaborative
  • Self-starter and has the ability to work independently at times
  • Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box
  • Knowledge of global HR trends and best practices
