Sales Engineer – Juma Al Majid Holding Group LLC

A well-known and well-reputed Company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is looking for an experienced, skilled, competent, mature, qualified, creative, and intelligent candidate with significant knowledge and relevant working experience for the position of “Sales Engineer”.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

Job Purpose:

To sell Diesel Genset and Air Compressors in Abu Dhabi & Al Ain region. Maintain a fair market share and keep improving it.

Principle Accountability:

1) Sells assigned products to all sectors whether they are private companies, Government departments, or individuals.

2) Maintains excellent technical knowledge about the company’s products.

3) Finds new prospects through media or by cold calls and tries to turn them into clients.

4) Stays in constant touch with the Line Manager for guidance, reviews outstanding quotations, updates on the market, and advises improvement of the system in order to comply with the quality policy.

5) Gathers information about competitors’ products, catalogs, prices, advantages, and disadvantages awareness.

6) Acts as a link between client and Service Dept. in order to ensure total customer satisfaction.

7) Follows up on the collection of outstanding payments. In case of any default, reports the case to the Department Head.

8) Convinces the customer post-sales to take service/maintenance contract.

9) Submits weekly and monthly, a customer visit, inquiry logs, and weekly planner and quotation status report to the Line Manager.

10) Attends weekly sales meetings.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Industrial and Power Generation Equipment sales

• B.Sc in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical)

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Analytical thinking, articulate personality, and ability to work under pressure

• Sales & product training

• Presentable

• Arabic language is an added value

• UAE Driving License
