Job Description
The Cluster Sales Manager Corporate is responsible for prospect and selling individual accounts on behalf of the hotel in accordance with the objectives established in the Marketing Plan.
Ensuring that quotas are met and that sales activities and bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue per available room.
- Ability to aggressively pursue and evaluate, solicit, sell and confirm business as required to meet individual goals and overall budgeted sales and profitability.
- Responsible for corporate individual and group sales within the local and International markets.
- Responsible for Corporate RFPs, Local and International contracts.
- Achieve individual set targets for all hotels.
- Soliciting business for all the hotels, account management, finalizing contracts for group bookings, actively seeking new clients for hotel and maintaining relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business.
- Consistently make sales calls both local and International for new business and existing accounts.
- Increase and strengthen relationship with the local and International TMCs.
- Attend Revenue, credit & Sales meetings.
- Know the primary and secondary competition for this segment and leverage hotel’s relative strengths against them.
- Participate in assigned business trips/roadshows.
- Meets operating budget and sales forecasts.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Presentation skills.
- Promote an atmosphere of teamwork.
- A “can-do” attitude with a calm, organized approach in all situations.
