As the Operations Manager of dubizzle, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of our teams that own the moderation and customer support processes. Your primary focus will be on improvement of our current SOPs, as well as proactively addressing any failure cases to drive customer retention and growth.
- Take ownership of the department and the different functions within it.
- Maintain an orderly workflow according to the priorities
- Coordinate and give feedback to the concerned departments on business processes and any client complaints. Maintain working relationships with all concerned departments
- Mentor and develop the operations team and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment
- Analyse statistics & data and compile accurate reports. Analyse and improve process and service procedures, policies, and standards
- Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyse variances; initiate corrective actions
- KPI management and tracking team member performance
- Continuously look towards improving the existing operations and focusing on scale.
- Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives
- Find ways to increase the quality of customer/client support
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Business Administration/Operations
- Proven work experience as an ops manager or a project manager in a B2B tech/SaaS company
- Team management experience is a must
- Understanding the online classifieds industry and the challenges they face
- Proficiency in ticket management tools like Zendesk, MS Office Suite or other relevant tools
- Understanding of continuous improvement techniques to drive change
- Strong understanding of Operations Management, Customer centricity and Project Management
- Excellence communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build strong rapport with customers and internal stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with ability to proactively identify and address customer issues
- Analytical mindset with ability to make data-driven recommendations
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Leadership ability, stakeholder management
