Job Summary:

• Sanya General Contracting and Maintenance LLC, a leading MEP fit-out company in the UAE, is seeking a diligent and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate should possess a strong financial acumen, be well-versed in accounting principles, and have a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in the UAE.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• VAT Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of VAT returns in accordance with UAE tax regulations.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions.
• Expense Management: Review and process expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and budgets.
• Payroll Processing: Oversee the payroll process, including salary calculations, deductions, and disbursements.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and provide insights to assist in decision-making and cost optimization.
• Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and documents for internal and external audits.
• Budgeting: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor budgets, providing regular reports on budget variances.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
• 2-5 years of proven experience as an accountant, with a preference for UAE experience.
• Proficiency in Tally accounting software is essential.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and experience in VAT filing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
