Role

We are seeking a Junior Financial Account to support our country manager in Dubai, United Arab Emirates where we have a substantial used cooking oil collection operation. This is a critical role to support the operations of the business and requires someone with exceptional attention to detail, who can perform and complete tasks against a set deadline

Responsibilities

• Execution of payments against daily purchases
• Handling and reconciliation of company account balance and report EOD balances
• Perform daily reconciliation of transactions (both cash and bank)
• Petty cash handling
• Preparing administrative documents around payments, credits and shipments
• Assist with preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports
• Drafting weekly and month forecasting reports for the business
• Drafting budgets, income statements, balance sheets, tax returns and reports required by regulatory authorities
• Analyze and report financial performance of the organization on a monthly basis
• Prepare and complete KYC/AML reports for new counterparties

Experience & Qualifications

• Good understanding of VAT/Company Tax and financial accounting
• At least a bachelor’s degree in an accounting related degree
• Proficient with MS Office
• Experience with ZOHO books ideally
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Detail orientated
• Language: English and Urdu/Hindi

Salary: 2,500-3,500 AED monthly, depending on experience
