The business development manager within the commercial real estate team will oversee and manage the sales and leasing of all Food & Beverage (F&B) spaces within the company’s portfolio of properties and procuring new properties. They will work closely with the property management teams and external F&B, retail companies to ensure the highest levels of tenant satisfaction and revenue generation.
- Develop and execute sales and leasing strategies for F&B clients in the company’s portfolio to maximize sales and revenue.
- Maintain and build relationships with existing F&B tenants, identifying new opportunities for leases, renewals, and expansions.
- Identify and attract new F&B tenants to the company’s properties through market research, networking, and other business development strategies.
- Procure F&B spaces for the company.
- Negotiate lease agreements with potential F&B tenants, ensuring that all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
- Monitor and analyze F&B sales and leasing performance, providing regular reports to senior management and identifying new opportunities for sales and leasing.
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns and events to promote F&B offerings in the company’s properties.
- Stay tuned to the current industry trends and best practices related to F&B sales and leasing.
- Participate in budget planning and forecasting related to F&B sales and leasing.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in F&B sales and leasing, preferably in a commercial real estate or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of the F&B industry and market trends.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
The business development manager plays a critical role in the success of the company’s F&B offerings, and as such, must be a highly motivated, results-driven, and strategic thinker.
