Your new opportunity
As our Operations Manager for the newly launching an Arabic restaurant brand, you will head, own and drive group of restaurants and achieve the revenue and bottom-line goals; Drive Guest Engagement and Upselling, Manage Optimal Staffing, and ensure adherence to all the Quality Standards. You will be responsible for the brand P&L in the operating markets; working with the team in developing and executing marketing, brand planning and business-development strategies to drive brand’s growth.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Financial
· Revenue – Completely own the revenue targets for the group of assigned restaurants and allocate the budgeted revenue and respective category targets to each restaurants and team members on time
· Productivity – Increase the productivity – revenue per restaurant and revenue per staff by ensuring optimal and stretched staffing and increasing eve the AUV
· Stock Management – Ensure the inventory is managed as per the company standards and there is zero negative stock variance at all times
· Competition – Monitor competitors and their activities and provide timely updates / feedbacks to the team / management and work out a plan to retain and increase the market leadership of the area. Suggest to the leadership team on various initiatives that will increase the market leadership and execute the same
· Revenue Budget Tracking – Ensure robust restaurant wise revenue targets MIS are maintained and give daily updates on the targets to ensure achievement of the budgeted targets
· Cost management – analyze the expenses of each restaurant across all expense heads and ensure optimal spent and increase the restaurant profitability
· Business development – To maintain up to date information about new residential areas, population, number of Hotels, QSR, Restaurants, etc and share with Operations Manager and recommend potential locations for opening new stores
Customer
· Treat our Guest with all respect at all times and our guest are constantly delighted with polite, respectful, friendly and effective service
· Ensure we increase the guest satisfaction scores and there are Zero guest complaints. If there are Guest complaints the same should be resolved in a positive manner that will not impact our great brand
Internal Business Process
· Ensure all the set internal processes pertaining to Food Safety, Cleanliness, Hygiene, SOPs, Tools and Equipment’s by company are followed and excelled at all times
· Responsible for monitoring the accurate reporting of all details pertaining to sales figures, category data, stock movement, petty cash related to restaurants
· To ensure the implementation of all marketing and operations procedures in your area, as per the guidelines.
· Restaurant construction and refurbishment – work along with the Projects team and support to ensure the restaurants are opened as per the set timelines
People
· Set clear expectations and individual KPIs for the team. Ensure daily tracking of the revenue report with the restaurants and employees that will ensure we are focused on sales at all times
· Create constant talent pool from within the team, that includes identify the top talent, and work with the leadership team and HR to groom top talent to the next level
· Coordinate with the Training team and ensure the team is trained continuously
· Ensure employee discipline is maintained
· Motivate the team and ensure good engagement levels of the team members that is driven by learning and contribution
· Ensure the team members are driven by integrity and there are no cases of pilferage or stock variance
Other Initiatives
· As a restaurant leader understand the business environment, competition and give recommendation that can be executed with the restaurant leadership team
· Come out with innovative methods of managing business, increasing revenue and reducing the cost
To be successful in your new role you are:
· At least 10 years of f&b operations experience, with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership role
· Shawarma brand operational experience is mandatory
· Bilingual skills – English and Arabic
· Number savvy – should be a number savvy person who can analyze and infer numbers and create a
· Engagement with people – ability to engage effectively with team members
· Customer focused mindset – a customer orientated mind with ability to engage with the diverse customer that will enable our business
· Sales focus and should possess a good selling mindset
· Multi-tasking – ability to manage diverse business activity effectively
