The provision of meaningful and insightful analysis to assist in critically evaluating current and future performance through developing dynamic business models. To ensure that all the data captured to support the Business is accurate, robust and delivered in an efficient and timely manner.

The job holder is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Reporting on key performance measures for the business on a weekly and monthly basis investigating and explaining key variances.
  • Work closely with KAM and Marketing teams, supporting with insightful sales/margin / promotional analysis ensuring the team understands the information.
  • Produce ad hoc financial analysis to understand the impact of operational decisions highlighting where corrective action is required.
  • Financial analysis for new product launches/trials.
  • GP margin and variance analyses.
  • Product pricing, purchase and sales price benchmarks.
  • Continually improve both the way information is presented and the interpretation of results and trends.
  • Assist Commercial Finance Managers on month-end process – review GL entries v commitments made, highlight any variance to overheads budget.
  • Review Segment & Store P&Ls and highlight any variances vs Budget and PY.
  • Support the Commercial Finance Managers in preparing monthly forecasts and annual budget.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Line Manager / Management Team.

Essential:

· 2 – 3 years’ experience in commercial/analytical roles preferably in FMCG, F&B or Retail

· Newly or part qualified Accountant

· Advanced skills in Excel and use of Business Intelligence Analytical tools

· Strong communicator at all levels

· Ability to manage large volumes of data and develop models to manipulate data efficiently

· Attention to detail – maintain integrity of data and ensure all analysis is robust and accurate

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of the Beverage Industry
  • Working experience in the UAE
  • Knowledge of local market environment & trends, government policy and regulatory requirements
  • Experience of budgeting & forecasting for multiple business units
