The Jumbo Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Business Development professional for its Distribution Business. The position shall report to the Head of the Business which is the largest Business Operation in the Groupā€™s portfolio of businesses. s/he will be responsible for leading and acquiring new Brands in the areas of Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances, Smart Devices, and Digital & Lifestyle Products.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be accountable for:

  • Develop new brands for Electronics Distribution in UAE / GCC Market.
  • Identify and convert Business Development opportunities in Distribution Brands
  • Develop appropriate sales and business development strategies in different geographies, growing them and sustaining value
  • Demonstrated capabilities in Brand Acquisition / Development of markets for Distribution

Desired Skills & Experience

Education:Ā MBA degree with an Engineering background preferably

Work experience:

  • Demonstrated capabilities and experience of having built a range of new Brands in the identified industry segments
  • Competence and Exposure to handling various facets of distribution of such brands in diverse geographies.
  • Knowledge of local markets in the MENA Region with exposure to other markets like APAC & South East Asia preferable.
  • 15-20 years of work experience with a strong inclination to BD
  • Has established long-term relationships with a proven success record.
  • Must be contemporary in terms of Market knowledge, Technology, Opportunities & Emerging trends.
  • High on the initiative since this position entails outreach.
