Key Activities And Responsibilities
- Work on product costing for current and proposed products considering all cost elements.
- Review of Bills of material with physical consumption before BOM finalization in system.
- Calculation of process costs for different types of products.
- Calculation of overheads of plant on standard cost method.
- Calculation of overhead rates for allocation to products.
- Review of the variances (Rate and consumption) and reporting of the same.
- Review the inventory and report any anomalies and aged items.
- Prepare Plant MIS with commentary on variances.
- Prepare cost trends for various category of raw materials and highlight any anomalies or unusual trends.
- Prepare Plant budgets.
- Prepare Forecasts.
Experience
- Experience of 4-5 years in FMCG/Pharma/Chemical industry.
- Understanding of Standard cost and Process costing.
- Knowledge of ERP SAP, ORACLE. (SAP Preferred).
Academic Qualifications
- ICWA/CA
