The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple financial analysis projects at the same time. At month end, you will be responsible for budget, projection, and actual variance commentary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
- 4+ years’ of relevant experience
- Strong quantitative financial skills
Required Skills
- Expert Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Has a good understanding of financial statements and financial statements analysis
- Good financial modelling skills (can prepare models from scratch including all the details and assumptions and then all the way to deriving PnLs, balance sheets and cash flows)
- Can maintain monthly rolling forecasts for cashflows and performance
- Ability to prepare variance analyses and drill down to the details to understand the reason for any variances and recommend any (corrective) actions
- Can closely monitor KPIs versus expected and budgeted KPIs
- Familiar with MIS reporting for multiple subsidiaries and allocation of costs
- Accurately update systems to actual results, forecasts, and budgets
- Good communication skills as he will be dealing with many (senior) stakeholders
- Preferably worked on pricing exercises previously
- Ensure compliance with internal and external accounting standards and financial policies
