Ideal candidate must have a proven experience in accounting and logistics. Candidate should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office on a day-to-day basis.
Reporting directly to Managing Director, accountant duties and responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Reports organization’s finances to management and offers suggestions about resource utilization and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Accounting Management: Oversee the full spectrum of financial and cost accounting functions Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounts operations. Coordinating with our external auditors to ensure the successful completion of our annual account statements.
- Logistics Management: coordinate and track movement of goods, execute logistics plan to move goods to reach destinations on schedule. Review freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low. Prepare import and export documents.
- Tax Accounting: Full responsibility for the company’s VAT liability across all appliable forms of revenue.
- Client Communication: This role will be the voice of the finance department to all internal and external stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. CPA preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting is preferred. A minimum of 1 year in logistics.
- Software: The ideal candidate would have experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace.
- Communication Skills: Excellent listening skills with the ability to communicate clearly and coherently (verbal and writing
- Organization Skills: The candidate must demonstrate exceptional organization and planning skills and attention to detail.
